Eighth Annual Football Tournament Kicks Off
World Cup fever hit the Black Country in June as over 120 primary school children battled it out at the A.F. Blakemore Junior Football Competition.
Hosted at Goals Soccer Centre, Darlaston, school children from St Giles, Woodlands, Busil Jones, Hillary, Salisbury, Castle, Old Church, Glebefields and Bantock Primary Schools attended the tournament where they showed off their best footwork to compete for the Blakemore's trophy.

Staff from A.F. Blakemore's Blakemore Logistics division organised the event, refereed the competition and were on hand to provide cold drinks and snacks in the glorious sunshine.
The final match saw Busil Jones battling it out against Glebefields with Glebefields clinching the victory.
